Sue, welcome to bloggerville! (Not really that much better than blogosphere, is it?)I find myself motivated to post more in hopes that others (like you) will link to my blog. It just satifies my innate and childlike need for attention. Another motivator — watch your statistics every day, and when they go down below average, it’s time to feed the mill again.

Thanks for the tip and the welcome! I too find “blogosphere” an unappealing word but it sure seems to have traction. Can we join together and get “blog world” going?

Sue, welcome to the blogosphere (what an ugly word!). Some people like to post to their blogs first thing in the morning — as sort of a writing warmup.

I often jot down things I want to blog about and try to get to them later in the day.
