When do you ask a client for a referral or a testimonial? We writers are often shy to ask, but it’s an important way of building our businesses. The Toronto chapter of Professional Writers Association of Canada, aka PWAC, just held a Twitter chat about referrals and testimonials. Since I wasn’t able to join in, I went back to the tweets to see what went on. This can be confusing, like jumping into a conversation where you don’t know which person is answering which question.
